Aims

The Policy Research Institute (PRI) is an independent research institute located within the University of Wolverhampton. It is dedicated to providing high quality client focused research and consultancy to meet the needs of local, regional and national and communities and organisations, both from statutory and voluntary and community sectors.

Services

We undertake projects in applied social research and some of our key themes include:
  Community consultation and empowerment
  Criminal justice and community safety
  Social capital and community networks
  Social inclusion and exclusion
Our range of services include:
  Conducting commissioned research on behalf of statutory bodies and voluntary and community sector organisations
  Undertaking policy analysis, scoping studies, audits, data collection, analysis and evaluations
  Participating in collaborative partnerships (for example, assiting in writing funding bids for projects or exploring collaborative funding opportunities)
  Co-ordinating conferences and workshops
  Sharing best practice and disseminating research findings
