SEMINAR ON DATA COLLECTION/INFORMATION FOR THIRD SECTOR/VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY PROVIDER ORGANISATIONS

Are you a Third Sector service provider organisation (voluntary and community sector, social business enterprise, etc) working in the field of Health and Social Care?
Are you interested in attending a seminar concerning the needs you may have - or may need to develop, regarding data collection in reference to your funders/commissioners?
Brief
Funders/commissioners are changing the focus of the types of information that they need to gather. There is a greater emphasis on outcomes rather than outputs - the session will aim to provide an environment where people can;
- Understand the importance of managing data/information - costs, activity, outcomes , service demands , quality measures
- Offer Some examples of common data problems and potential solutions i.e. managing waiting lists , estimating required service capacity
- identifying skill needs re data management

Cost: There is no fee – however a £75 fee will be charged for non organisations failing to give at least 5 days notice of not attending.
