Disability Best Practice for Women

Description
The Haven Wolverhampton are working in partnership with WOW and other networks in the city to shape support and best practise provision for women who have a disability and are experiencing/or who have experienced domestic violence/abuse.
The piece of work involves forming an interest group to steer the piece of work. Recommendations from research completed by Women's Aid will be reviewed, and the group will focus on mapping existing support for women, evaluate best practise and plan how to implement appropriate recommendations. This initial cross cutting project will aim to develop a longer term support strategy for The Haven and other groups in the city to provide support for women who have a disability and are experiencing domestic violence/abuse.
