Update
Teleresources has been commissioned by WOW (Women Organising in Wolverhampton) to consult with women with regards to Wolverhampton City Council’s Gender Scheme and Action Plan. Teleresources has compiled a short questionnaire to gain an insight into how much women, women’s groups, and organisations in Wolverhampton, understand the following Ø The Need for the Gender Scheme Ø How much information has been given about the Gender Scheme Ø The types of Organisations that have been involved in the implementation of the Gender Scheme The information will be collated and reported back to WOW and the Wolverhampton Partnership, and will be available on the WOW website. Over the last month we have developed partnerships with various community groups and networking through numerous events. We have managed to maintain excellent relationships with Local Neighbourhood Partnerships, and have attended four forums to advise the LNP’s of the work we are conducting for WOW. Teleresources has developed questionnaires which will enable us to gather basic information regarding the Gender Equality Scheme. The questionnaires will tell us how much information about the Scheme has already been disseminated and what has been understood by the various communities Specifically working with WOW members Women’s groups, organisations and communities, questionnaires have been disseminated across Wolverhampton to help us establish the focus and understanding of the Gender Equality Scheme. At present we have received an average number of replies and are currently working on the data analysis – to establish our findings to then present at the WOW Strategic meeting.
